Moti, the birdie in the Box, came to New Jersey, USA in a box of pickles shipped from Hyderabad, India. She made friendship with Panna a six-year baby in the house. Her presence was not known to anyone in the family as Moti desired to keep it a secret for some time. She continued sleeping for 2 days due to jet lag. On Friday, she recovered from her jet lag and began to explore the house. The birdie was hungry and thirsty and was searching for food. She entered into the garage and where she saw a red bench and she perched on the same. She saw white surface and thought these were bedsheets dried in Sun. She was happy to look around sitting on carriage rack of the car. The car began to go out of the garage and when it took a turn, the birdie fell onto the fresh snow. Moti was helpless as she could not get out of the snow and there was no one to help her. She was saved by a family of chipmunks who saw vicious looking hawks hovering above. Moti makes new friends on her second adventure.
